Small Phratat relic crystals from the collections of Wat Sakai (Temple of the Most Venerable LP Dooh ).
These small Phratat crystal stones come from the Mekhong, and were sorted one by one in the sand coming from a cove of this river, in the Nongkhaï region, known to monks for accumulating these sacred crystals.
I have already seen monks carrying out this incredibly meticulous research work in a bowl of sand, with a mask, a magnifying glass and tweezers...
These crystals are considered to be relics of the Buddha, having multiplied over the millennia and dispersed throughout the waterways of Asia after a small part of the relics from the funeral pyre of the Buddha was offered to the King of the Nagas. and scattered in the Ganges.
These relics can be worn as pendants or placed in a Buddha statue to charge it.
