Rare large Phra Somdej Gao Chan amulet consecrated in 1980 by the Most Venerable LP Pern of Wat Bang Phra.
This large saffron-colored amulet depicts a stylized Phra Somdej Buddha on a nine-tiered throne (with a silver takut amulet inlaid on the highest step of the throne). The Phra Somdej Gao Chan amulets are the most powerful and sacred of the Phra Somdej amulets and today practically no monk still masters the complexity of the different ritual stages of their manufacture and then their consecration.
On the back we find a Roop Lor portrait of Venerable Luang Phor Pern in a bell (with a relic of his monk's outfit on the shoulder) various temple seals and the serial number 3431 (this is a limit series of 4999 pieces ).
Even though this amulet was produced 44 years ago, it is in superb condition and appears almost like new!
If you are looking for an EXCELLENT Phra Somdej amulet made by a famous Venerable, here is an opportunity not to be missed.
