The Trungwa and Dta'Grol (also written Tagrol , or Tadrol )
are amulets composed of a pentacle,
mantra and various sacred substances,
placed in a tissue bag.

In the case of some of these amulets the Tibetan tradition
assures that the simple act of wearing one of these amulets gives assurance
for the wearer to reach Enlightenment upon death, provided however
to burn the amulet at the same time as his body!
Other Dtagrol amulets are known to bring Awakening by simple contact
or even that the simple fact of seeing these amulets purifies Karma.

Dtagrol amulets can have a large number of varied powers,
depending on the pentacle and the deity to which it is devoted.
