This powerful protective Phra Pidta Mahalap amulet (รุ่นพุทธาคมเขาอ้อ) was consecrated during a grand Phithi Phuttha Pisek ceremony at Wat Khao Or , in Phatthalung province, on December 1st, 2015. Cast in sacred alchemical metal (composed, among other things, of blades from ancient weapons), it bears the blessing of the famous esoteric lineage of Wat Khao Or, renowned for its secret rituals of protection and invincibility. This is a limited edition of only 999 pieces, offered here in a new, custom-made reliquary, with its original temple box.
The Phra Pidta Buddha , literally "the one who covers his eyes," symbolizes the closing of the senses to the illusions of the world, inviting inner wisdom and clarity of mind. Amulets of this type are reputed to block negative energies, ward off evil, and promote the prosperity of the wearer.
Wat Khao Or is one of the oldest centers of occult arts in Southern Thailand. Its monks and lay masters have practiced sacred sciences there for centuries: alchemy, invocations, and protective magic. Every blessing in this temple is performed according to precise rituals passed down from the Srivijaya Kingdom.
