Phra Rahu Black Purifying Sacred Soap (Thai: Saboo Dam Phra Rahu )
made and blessed at Wat Sri Sathong (Nakhon Pathom).
This sacred soap is composed of a traditional blend of sacred plants and coconut oil.
(with a small amount of oil from the sacred coconut with one eye Gala Dta Diaow ).
With this soap is offered a small sacred black cloth Pa Yant from Phra Rahu .
We use this soap when we need to purify ourselves,
for example when we had to go to an "impure" place
or in contact with a person considered "evil".
It is simply used in the shower, like a regular soap,
without doing any special ritual.
