Curious votive tablet of the Buddha in terracotta from the Sukhothai region.
This Buddhist votive tablet is a rustic, handcrafted product, a few decades old. It was sun-dried on a cloth (you can see the weave of this cloth on the back of the amulet) before being fired over a wood fire. What is quite surprising about this piece is that the Buddha's head is offset, almost giving the impression that the Buddha has two heads!
