Origin and Creation This rare protective amulet, called Phra Pidta Sai Rung, was dedicated in the early 1990s at Wat Pradu Chimplee. Made from carefully selected sacred powders and consecrated by the Most Venerable Luang Phor Toh Inthasuwano (1887-1981, a Venerable monk renowned for the power of his blessings.), it is imbued with a unique spiritual energy and strong protection against negative influences.
Symbolism and Virtues The Phra Pidta, known for its posture with hands covering the eyes, symbolizes the closing of the senses to the temptations of the material world, promoting meditation and introspection. In Thai tradition, it is also said that the Buddha Phra Pidta "hides its wearer from dangers." On the back of this amulet is the Yant pentacle of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Toh Intasuwano.
