Rare amulet of the fortune Buddha Phra Sanghajai consecrated around 1950 by the Very Venerable Luang Phor Tae Khong Thong of Wat Sam Ngam (Nakhon Pathom).
This very unusual amulet of the Buddha of fortune in a highly stylized (and even barely recognizable) form is composed of powders of sacred herbs, earth from seven cemeteries and ashes from funeral pyres.
Very few of these amulets were produced, as the Venerable simply used leftover materials from the production of Khuman Thong statuettes. In this particular piece, he also engraved the back of the amulet with a mystical Yant symbol and Pali characters. Although this amulet is approximately 70 years old, it does not appear to have been worn much.
Rare antique piece, which will make a fine acquisition for an advanced collector of Prai amulets.
