Luang Phor Koon (1923–2015) is renowned for his powerful blessings, austere lifestyle, and ability to gather huge crowds for his ceremonies. Amulets attached directly to his body—such as this thumb cast—are particularly sought after for their spiritual protection, their ability to attract good luck, and ward off danger.

It is said that to possess his thumbprint is to receive the direct mark of his compassion and spiritual strength, acting as a protective seal on the wearer's life.
