The Venerable Luang Phor Moon was one of the greatest Masters of the forest monk tradition.
He lived for 109 years, and during his long life he witnessed a succession of
5 King on the throne of the kingdom of Siam (from Rama V to Rama IX).

He was born on April 15, 1894 in the province of Sri Saket
in a poor farming family.
*
Luang Phor Moon became a novice at Wat Banjan at the age of 14.
and became a disciple of the Venerable Phra Ajarn Siddha.
Then he received his monastic vows in 1917 at the age of 23.

He would not return to Wat Banjan until 60 years later (in 1977).
and lived for many years as a Thudong hermit monk,
following to the letter the vows of a monk of the pure ancient tradition
forest monks.

Throughout all those years, he traveled extensively in search of capable Masters
to teach him the secrets of Dharma and Magic.
Among other places, he travelled to Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia, as well as many remote areas of Thailand.
He made all these journeys on foot, in very difficult conditions (at that time there were no modern means of transport and most of Thailand was a huge wild and dangerous jungle).

- Production of sacred powders according to the lineage of Phra Puthajarn Toh
(He studied this with the Very Venerable Phra Ajarn Sri Chantasiri).

The amulets consecrated by LP Moon were highly sought after and renowned for their efficacy, so much so that even the Venerable Luangta Mahabua advised his disciples to obtain amulets from LP Moon.
