Thai Amulets of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Ruay Pasatiko (1922 - 2017) from Wat Tako (Ayuthaya).
Luang Phor Ruay is a very famous monk in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province and central region of Thailand. Luang Phor Ruay was born on February 14, 1922, in Ban Nong Khai Nam (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province) into a farming family. From a young age, he was a devout follower of Buddhism. At the age of 20, he was ordained a monk by Venerable Phrakru Phattharam Sobhit (Luang Phor Taw) at Wat Takho. His master gave him the title "Pasathiko," which means "one who erases the defilements of the mind." After being ordained, Luang Phor Ruay studied Buddhist scriptures and magic under many great Venerables until his knowledge and abilities in the field of magic became well known. Luang Phor Ruay was a monk of beautiful conduct who effortlessly upheld the Dharma and the Vinaya, and was loved and respected by all. Luang Pho Ruay resided at Wat Tako for over 50 years. He was an exemplary monk, rigorously practicing the Dharma and Vipassana meditation. Luang Pho Ruay led a simple and solitary lifestyle, not attached to fame or praise. The amulets of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Ruay are highly sought after, as many miraculous stories surround them since he began enshrining them in 1987. The Most Venerable Luang Phor Ruay passed away on July 19, 2017, at the age of 95, after 75 years as a monk.
