Phaya Nok Thuet Thue Amulet – Sacred Owl of Prosperity – Wat Pak Klong Makham Thao (2017)
This amulet represents Phaya Nok Thuet Thue , the legendary owl associated with the ancient tradition of Luang Phor Suk. It was consecrated in 2017 by monks of the lineage of this great master at Wat Pak Klong Makham Thao , Chainat province.
The term "Phaya Nok Thuet Thue" is an old expression. In the regional dialects of the past, some elders also pronounced "Thue Thued," reflecting an archaic language passed down through oral tradition.
According to legend, the Thuet Thue bird possesses the ability to "eat endlessly." In the Luang Pu Suk tradition, it is described as a medium to large-sized owl with a brown body speckled with white. Its wings are darker than its belly, its eyes are yellow, its eyebrows are long and prominent, its legs are bare and featherless, and it is nocturnal.
In sacred belief, Phaya Nok Thuet Thue is associated with:
- The great seduction and universal benevolence metta mahaniyom
- Romantic harmony and the flourishing of the couple
- Popularity and the favor of others
- Career advancement towards management positions
- Promotion within the administrative ranks
- The increase in wealth and prosperity
