Pendant composed of a saffron yellow Naga crystal in the shape of a lingam in a custom-decorated reliquary.
The Naga crystals (also called "Naga eye" or Dta Payanag in Thai) are stones found along the banks of the Mekong River and which, according to legend, come from the treasures of the giant Naga snakes and are offered to humans to reward them for not polluting the places where the Nagas live and leaving them in peace.
These rare sacred stones can be found in two different forms:
- Geodes containing one or more small pearls.
- Large raw crystals.
The saffron yellow Eye of the Nagas that I am offering you here was carved into the shape of a lingam by a craftsman from Nongkhai from a large crystal.
Naga eye pendants are worn not only for their beauty but also to attract the blessings and benevolence of water spirits into one's daily life.
