Luang Pho To amulet, the "World-Opening Buddha"
This amulet depicts Luang Pho To in the posture of the Buddha opening the world , a symbol of clarity, spiritual elevation, and the unveiling of inner obstacles. It was consecrated in 2007 at Wat Laksi Ratsamokhon (Samut Sakhon), in a special edition commemorating the 80th birthday of King Rama IX , entitled Thep Thai Thua Thorani Sae Song Therd Thai Chom Ratchan (The Divine King praises and honors the King).
This amulet is largely composed of white marble powder from the making of Buddha statues.
On the reverse, we find Phaya Rahu , the protective demon, a formidable guardian associated with protection against harmful influences, reversals of fortune, and periods of darkness. Together, they form a powerful piece, both luminous through the awakened aspect of Luang Pho To and powerful through the vigilance of Rahu.
