Ritual shirt Seuar Yant – Wat Sakai – Consecrated by Luang Phor Dooh (1982)
This Seuar Yant ritual shirt is an exceptional sacred object from Wat Sakai (Ayutthaya). Entirely hand-decorated by the temple's monks , it was later consecrated in 1982 by the Venerable Luang Phor Dooh on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the founding of Wat Sakai .
I was able to obtain two authentic copies of these consecrated shirts:
- A bright orange version, corresponding to the traditional color of monks' robes.
- A dark orange version, close to the color worn by the forest monks .
Each shirt is a ritual garment used for sacred ceremonies, protections, blessings, and certain saiyasat practices in the Luang Phor Dooh lineage. They bear yant designs hand-drawn according to traditional methods passed down by the temple masters.
These shirts are now over 40 years old and, although in good condition, they naturally show some minor imperfections due to time: light stains, shades of wear, slight discoloration, normal signs of authenticity and age.

By donning this sacred shirt, one puts on more than just a garment: one welcomes the direct blessing of Luang Phor Dooh and the ancestral protection of Wat Sakai. The hand-drawn yant symbols activate a deep, gentle, and luminous energy, like a spiritual shield enveloping the practitioner. Like armor of merit, these shirts were designed to guide, purify, and protect on the visible paths… as well as on those that unfold within.
