This Mae Nang Tanee amulet was created according to an ancient traditional ritual by Venerable Luang Pu Wiang of Wat Sawang Nong Chat, in Maha Sarakham province. It is imbued with the benevolent energy of Nang Tanee, a protective female spirit associated with the sacred banana tree, a symbol of fertility, prosperity, and charm.
Contrary to some misconceptions, this amulet contains no spirit, entity, or ghost . It works solely through the power of the ritual, the sacred substances used, and the spiritual intention imparted during its consecration. Wearing it therefore has no negative consequences.
The creation ritual involves the use of a sacred Tanee banana tree bearing a flower bud , accompanied by traditional offerings such as flowers, incense, candles, perfume, and fragrant powders. Sandalwood powder is used to invoke protection, fortune, charm, and popularity.
The flowers from banana buds are sun-dried and then ground into powder. They are then mixed with a set of ritual substances renowned for their powerful virtues: five types of sacred powders, ancient beeswax, Dok Mae Thong gold grass, Wan Khrua Roi Pla grass, Ithije relic powder, Nang Ok Taek powder, Nang Non spiritual powder, Nang Sai spiritual powder, Phong Tanee spiritual powder, and Mae Takian spiritual powder, associated with luck and favorable destiny from Phra Khun Phaen.
A frog skin, from a hibernating animal that died naturally in its burrow, is also traditionally incorporated. It is believed to bring luck, success in games of chance, and unexpected opportunities.
This amulet is known to: promote success in business and negotiations, improve fortune and destiny, enhance personal charm and natural attractiveness, inspire compassion and popularity, and attract love and sincere relationships. It is suitable for both men and women.
It acts as a talisman of abundance, protection, and security, allowing one to formulate prayers for whatever one desires, within the limits of one's merits and wealth. It is reputed to accelerate the flow of prosperity and support professional and personal success.
