About Phratat Na Dun Stupa:
Phratat Na Dun is an impressive stupa built on an ancient site where numerous Buddhist relics and artifacts dating back to the Dvaravati period were discovered. Located in Maha Sarakham province, it is the region's main religious center. Built in 1979 to house relics found in an ancient crypt, the stupa attracts thousands of pilgrims each year to pay homage.
To possess an amulet consecrated in this place is to carry with oneself a blessing from a tradition dating back to the first centuries of Buddhism in Thailand.
In the silence of the crypt, ancient relics mingled with sacred powders to give birth to these amulets, bearers of spiritual continuity between past and future. Maitreya Buddha, master of the world to come, stands here as a guardian of compassion and renewal.
