This Phra Somdej Phuttha Nuphab – Pim Phra Somdej Gao Chan amulet is a special edition dedicated in 2013 on the occasion of the centenary of His Holiness Somdej Phra Sangharaj Yanasangwon Nyanasamvara , Supreme Patriarch of Thailand and major figure of contemporary Theravāda Buddhism.
On the obverse, we see a seated Phra Somdej Buddha (Gao Chan) , a symbol of spiritual elevation, karmic stability, and progress on the path of Dhamma. This nine-tiered iconography is traditionally associated with lasting protection, profound wisdom, and the consolidation of accumulated merit.
The reverse features an official sacred seal linked to His Holiness Somdej Phra Sangharaj and relics accompanied by ritual inscriptions attesting to this exceptional consecration. The whole reflects an amulet of high spiritual value, issued in a solemn and deeply revered context.
This Somdej is offered mounted in a new custom-made reliquary in gilded metal , richly decorated with traditional enameled motifs, ensuring both protection, elegance and enhancement of the amulet.
