Phra Somdej Luang Phor Parn amulets in the style of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Parn Sunantho (1875 - 1938) of Wat Barn Nomkho.
These amulets represent the Buddha Phra Somdej, seated above an animal (bird, rooster, fish or even monkey) and are pieces around 30 years old, handmade by disciples of the Very Venerable LP Parn.
Following the ancient formula transmitted by Luang Phor Parn, these amulets are composed of the following ingredients:
- sacred herbs and plants.
- pollen from rare plants.
- fine clay collected deep in a rice paddy.
- sacred powders blessed by Grand Masters of the past.
- the 6 “great sacred powders”:
- Phong Puttakhun,
- Phong Itichy,
- Phong Tri-singhe,
- Phong Maharaj,
- Phong Potamang,
- Phong Wiset Hua Jai Sak.
According to the method of the Very Venerable Luang Phor Parn these amulets were cooked for a long time on a rice husk fire, which made them very hard and preserved them in very good condition. A curious detail is that the amulets
of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Parn have a hole (either at the top or bottom of the amulet) which has been filled with sacred powder and closed most often with...cement!
EACH PIECE IS UNIQUE.
