Vintage Medal of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Sodh Candassaro from Wat Paknam (Bangkok)
This beautiful vintage Thai Buddhist medal, dating from the 1980s/1990s, is dedicated to the Most Venerable Luang Phor Sodh Candassaro, one of the great spiritual figures of Bangkok's famous Wat Paknam.
The obverse features the portrait of the venerable Luang Phor Sodh in a traditional composition, surrounded by elegant golden decoration. The reverse, protected under its reliquary, bears several sacred Thai characters arranged around the center of the medal.
This antique medal has a beautiful patina and natural signs of age visible in the photographs. These marks bear witness to its age and give it all the charm of a true vintage Thai religious object.
