Kewpie Khuman Thong doll decorated with sacred yant , made as a ritual support or symbolic object linked to the Thai Khuman Thong tradition.
This doll was decorated with yant by an Ajarn , but has not been charged or activated . Therefore, it currently contains no entities and originally possesses no active ritual characteristics.
It can be used in two ways:
- ✨ As a decorative and symbolic addition to an altar dedicated to the Khuman Thong
- 🧿 As a protective body for a Khuman Thong amulet , thus serving as a ritual statuette
In the second case, tradition dictates that one proceeds as follows:
The underside of the doll is carefully opened using a craft knife. The Khuman Thong amulet is placed inside, secured with cotton. The doll is then carefully closed again.
The doll then becomes an active Khuman Thong statuette , protecting the amulet and offering it discreet and respectful physical support.
This method is appreciated for its traditional, protective and aesthetically gentle nature, with the doll retaining a cute and non-disturbing appearance.
