The scepter's head is made of Loh Dam alchemical metal and represents Phra Phrom (Brahma) , a symbol of prosperity, cosmic balance, protection, and fulfillment. The shaft is made of ritual wood, with a blessed inscription and traditional finish. This spiritual object has historically been used in blessing rituals, opening sak yant ceremonies, consecrating amulets, and providing karmic protection .
One can use such a wand to protect a place (simply by drawing a circle on the ground around oneself, or lines all around each opening of a house) or to "recharge" amulets by pointing the Mae Kru at them while reciting their Khata.
