A consecrated votive tablet representing Guan Yin , bodhisattva of infinite compassion, made and blessed in 2005 within the famous Wat Manghon Kamalawat , a large Sino-Thai Buddhist temple in Bangkok.
This votive tablet is distinguished by its refined iconography: Guan Yin is depicted seated on a lotus, in a posture of serenity and protection, surrounded by traditional ritual symbols from Mahayana Buddhism. The gilding highlights the delicate reliefs of the face, drapery, and attributes, lending the whole a gentle and profoundly soothing presence.
The reverse features a powerful octagonal motif inspired by the bagua , accompanied by sacred ideograms related to protection, harmony, and wisdom. This type of seal is traditionally associated with balancing energies, pacifying negative influences, and spiritual elevation.
