The precious sacred stone of Sukhothai Khao Tok Phra Ruang.
Ancient writings say that Khao Tok Phra Ruang stones are originally a sacred rice that appeared in the area of Wat Khao Phra Bat Yai (Sukhothai) from the sacred words of Buddha Phra Ruang.
On that day, Phra Ruang Buddha prepared food and threw the remaining rice in his bowl onto the temple floor and prayed, "May this rice turn into various kinds of sacred stones and multiply throughout the centuries for the benefit of future generations."
For the ancient people of Sukhothai, there was a belief that Khao Tok Phra Ruang stone was a very precious sacred object. People often took it with them when they went to war or went to the forest to hunt. They believed that this stone protected them from invisible dangers in the forest and from injuries during battles. Farmers liked to bury some of these stones in their rice fields to make them more fertile, also women who wanted a child would carry one of these stones with them to be fertile.
Nowadays, whoever possesses this amulet will be protected, blessed with various kinds of wealth, happy and peaceful.
